Earth and Fire Pottery has been operating.  Owner and potter, Monica Mann, is a graduate of the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland.  Monica has been intertwining her talent and humor in the ceramic arena since the early 1970's.

All of the studio pottery is wheel thrown or hand built stoneware with occasional ventures into porcelain and wood firing. Rugged enough for everyday use, this pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.

The studio's signature Moose Ware has endured the test of time and continues to evoke smiles and chuckles.  And the Outdoor Patchwork line of pottery celebrates the free spirit of all things wild.  Finally, there's the ever popular moose figures.  For years Monica has created the "sitting Moose" with various emotions. Recently, this figure has crossed over to a Christmas ornament.
